We empower high-impact Web3 projects & subnets that drive real-world change
Mission
We bring Asia’s top AI talents to build high-impact Web3 x AI projects that drive real-world change
In the past two decades, inequality has grown, social divides have deepened, and the web has become increasingly centralized. The consolidation of AI development among a few major players reinforces those trends by widening gaps and embedding bias into the tools we all use. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has entered the mainstream as Web3's foundational layer and the core infrastructure for Web3 is now in place.
This moment calls for decisive action. Decentralized AI can put transformative technology in everyone's hands while correcting the biases and distortions in today's web.
Mission
We bring Asia’s top AI talents to build high-impact Web3 x AI projects that drive real-world change
In the past two decades, inequality has grown, social divides have deepened, and the web has become increasingly centralized. The rise of AI, controlled by a few major players, risks reinforcing those trends—widening gaps and embedding bias into the tools we all use. At the same time, Bitcoin has entered the mainstream as Web3's foundational layer and the core infrastructure for Web3 is now in place. Now is the time to focus on decentralized AI— to put AI technology in the hands of people and correct the biases and distortions embedded in today's web services.
Background
The macro trend post-COVID has made it difficult for emerging market
AI entrepreneurs to secure traditional VC funding
"Higher market
rates environment"
"Expansionary
fiscal and/or
monetary policy"
01
Reduced allocation to high-risk, non-dollar
denominated assets (e.g., overseas VC)
02
Bitcoin as inflation hedge
03
AI arms race (fueled by excess liquidity) benefiting
only a few major players in the US & China
Decentralized AI
Decentralized AI(dAI) provides a better AI infrastructure and funding mechanism, especially for those outside the mainstream
Reduced allocation to high-risk, Non-dollar denominated assets (e.g., overseas VC)
# of users ∝ network value
Crypto capital tend to stay within crypto, seeking asymmetric return
The need to tackle the inefficiencies & democratic threats of centralized AI will increase
Promote inclusiveness & open competition, transcending borders
Mitigate biases
Leverage idle resources of the world
Enhance transparency & security
